-게 (extra): So That — Aiming at a Result

Connective -게 for purpose/result (and related manner/degree) — focus here: the result you want.

How to form it

When Form Example
Purpose / result -게 알게 / 편하게 / 빨리 끝나게

-게 here is the purpose / intended result reading: arrange things so that X happens.

Forms

stem + -게 (dictionary also allows -으시- ahead). Particles like 는/도/까지 may follow -게 in some frames — learn those from input rather than forcing them on day one.

Use manner -게 when you only mean “in an ADJ/ADV way.”
