-네 / -네요 also voices noticing. -는군 tends to feel a notch more exclamatory / just-in. Weather small-talk often uses -네요; a sharper “ah — so that’s how it is” often lands as -는군요.
Register
Dictionary placement is intimate speech or self-talk. Polite conversation adds 요. Do not reach for -는군 in formal announcements where -습니다, -습니까 belongs.
